SCIENCE!

   This year in 5th grade we will be learning about:

​

  • CHARACTERISTICS AND INTERACTIONS OF EARTH'S SYSTEMS: Students will learn Earth's major systems, within these systems they will learn the location of Earth's land and water and how the systems interact. 

​​

  • PROPERTIES AND CHANGES OF MATTER: Students will learn that all substances are composed of matter and the different properties that make it up. 

​​

  • CYCLING OF MATTER IN ECOSYSTEMS:  Students will learn that matter cycles in the ecosystems and can be traced from organism to organism. They will learn about organisms behavior and life functions.

SOCIAL STUDIES!

Students will engage in the study of history, government, economics, and geography as they study the United States. They will learn the what has helped shape American into what it is today.
